Navy recruits Nathan

Orchestra Session at Conway Studios
Nathan has just completed the scoring session for Under New Management. The eclectic score is a contemporary throw-back to the mid-century romance films, which was beautifully performed by the Angel City Studio Orchestra, with some players who were in Mancini's original orchestra!

The Pledge
Nathan Furst has been hired to compose a western score for The Pledge, produced by Hallmark Entertainment and Larry Levinson. The film marks the second time Nathan has teamed up with visionary director Armand Mastroianni. The film stars Luke Perry and C. Thomas Howell.

Already Dead & Lake Placid 2 will be released on Lakeshore Records
Nathan's score for the dark thriller "Already Dead", as well as "Lake Placid 2" are scheduled to be released on Lakeshore Records. Executive Music Producer Brian McNelis is excited to release Nathan's scores on the 2008 roster, alongside Spiderwick Chronicles, Be Kind Rewind, and Jumper. Scoring "Shark Swarm" Mini Series
Nathan has just completed scoring the mini-series, "Shark Swarm" for RHI Entertainment and Hallmark.
The show stars Darryl Hannah, John Schnieder, and Armande Asante.
Nathan composed the score utilizing his trademark sound - huge symphonic and percussive orchestrations. Under the extreme deadlines, Nathan wrote, orchestrated, produced and delivered the 160 minute score in less than two weeks!
Ghost Voyage
Nathan has just finished completed scoring the Sci-Fi film, "Ghost Voyage" for director James Oxford (X2, Chronicles of Riddick, Superman Returns).
The score combines haunting orchestral textures with atmospheric industrial elements. Check it out on Sci-Fi Channel On January 28, 2008.

Fusing ideas on "Already Dead"
Nathan has just begun scoring the thriller "Already Dead" for director Joe Otting.
The dark story will be scored blending Nathan's electronica soundscape techniques with orchestral themes and elements. The film stars Christopher Plummer, Til Schweiger, and Ron Eldard.
Scoring "High" on Dana Brown Doc
Nathan has just signed on to score the Hawaiian surfing documentary, "High Water" for director Dana Brown and producer C. Rich Wilson. The film will follow multiple story lines centered around surfing's Triple Crown competitions, the professional surfing tour's final three competitions held each year on the North Shore of Oahu. Real life drama, humor, death-defying waves, rivalries, parties, heart-break, romance, injuries, and humanity all collide during the nearly two month competition.

Nathan starts 'Lake Placid 2'
Nathan has just begun scoring the sequel to Lake Placid for Sony Entertainment and 20th Century Fox. The film features acting legend Cloris Leachman, and is directed by David Flores.
Lake Placid 2 is currently scheduled to air on Sci-Fi channel concurrent to the DVD release.
The full orhestral score is estimated to be written and recorded in 4 weeks.

The film is a haunting drama about a fallen football star who comes home to make amends after abandoning his family for 9 years. The all-star cast includes Eriq La Salle (E.R, One Hour Photo), Dana Davis (Heroes), Michael Michele (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, E.R.) , and Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons).
